Privacy & your data

Your possibilities belong to you. Here’s what stays on your device, what you choose to share, and how to clear it.

Who operates Decision Jar?

Albibi Power Partners LLC operates Decision Jar. For support, privacy requests, or security reports, contact decisionjar@albibi.app. This notice describes the public app at decisionjar.albibi.app.

What the app stores

Your browser stores jar names, choices, people’s names or nicknames, draw settings, which entries have had a turn, the active jar, sound preference, and up to 50 past draws per jar with timestamps. These make saved jars, history, and fair turns work.

The main storage key is decision-jar-v1. If saved data cannot be read, a raw recovery copy may be retained under decision-jar-recovery. Both are browser local storage, not an app account or cloud database. The app does not read the hosting platform’s account identity into your jars.

Local storage is not encrypted by Decision Jar and is shared by pages on this site in the same browser profile. Someone with access to that profile, browser extensions, or a compromised device may read it. Closing a tab or signing out of any hosting account does not erase local jars. Use nicknames and avoid passwords, financial details, health information, or other sensitive data.

What leaves your device

We do not sell jar data, use it for advertising, or send it to an AI model. The app has no tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, third-party scripts, or external font requests.

Cookies, hosting, and email providers

Decision Jar’s own code does not set cookies. It uses local storage for the features you choose. The site is hosted on OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure and DNS. Anyone can open the app without signing in; this does not publish the jars saved in your browser. Platform cookies, if any, and service logs are governed by OpenAI’s privacy policy and cookie policy; deleting jars does not delete those records. Cloudflare’s handling of network requests is described in its privacy policy linked below.

Our contact address uses Cloudflare Email Routing to forward messages to an operator-managed Gmail inbox. Cloudflare and Google process email under their respective Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy. Their systems may process information in other countries. Following any external link takes you to that provider’s service.

Retention and deletion

Each website address has separate browser storage. Moving from the earlier chatgpt.site address to decisionjar.albibi.app does not transfer jars automatically: download a backup at the old address and restore it here. Local jars remain until you delete them, replace them with a restored backup, or clear this site’s browser data. Draw history retains only the latest 50 entries per jar. A recovery copy has no automatic expiry and is removed by Your data → Delete all saved data. Deleting an individual jar or person does not scrub names from past results or a pre-existing recovery copy.

Delete all saved data removes both app storage keys from this site in this browser and clears the current app view. It shows fresh starter jars, which are saved only when you use the app again. Other open tabs are notified. Repeat deletion in other browsers or devices, and close old tabs if a browser prevents synchronization.

Downloaded files, clipboard history, shared messages, and support emails are separate copies. Delete those through the relevant device or service. The app cannot recover a deleted collection without a backup. Browser settings can clear site data if the app reports that deletion was blocked.

Support correspondence remains in the operator’s inbox until deleted; an automatic support-email deletion schedule has not yet been configured. You can request deletion at our contact address. Records needed for an unresolved issue, a legal obligation, or a dispute may need to be retained. Hosting and email providers apply their own retention practices.

Your choices and requests

You can inspect and correct jar content in the app, download a backup, delete individual jars or history, and delete all local data. We cannot remotely access, export, or erase browser-only jars for you.

For information we receive by email, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Depending on your location, other rights may include objection, restriction, portability, and a complaint to your local privacy authority. Tell us enough to identify your request without sending unnecessary identity documents. We use support messages to answer requests and handle security or legal issues.

Other people and family activities

Use people’s nicknames with their knowledge. Family and sibling jars are activity themes, not child accounts. Do not enter children’s personal or sensitive information. The app is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children.

Changes to this notice
